M20’s are medium-priced truly wireless earbuds. They have one of the most impressive batteries for wireless earbuds that we have seen. Comfort: 

First off, the MPOW M20 is incredibly lightweight. This is why plastic is often a great choice. They are comfortable to wear for long sessions and at times, you might even forget wearing them. The fit is surprisingly good. So good that the earbuds remain in place even while swimming. They of course also stay in place when running or working out as well.

They have touch controls instead of traditional buttons meaning that you will not accidentally push them too far in your ears. The controls are very easy to get used to, once you use them for a few days. Furthermore, the buds are also comfortable to take out or put into your ears despite being rather large.

Design & Build Quality

The build quality on both the earbuds and the charging case is great. The case is of medium size so it should still be able to fit in most pockets. Plastic is the weapon of choice for the case and the earbuds. This keeps the weight down so it’s of great choice. The magnets inside the case hold the earbuds well in place, they are easy to take out or put in the charging case. The earbuds have an IPX7 rating, which does make them a very good choice for sports as they can handle water or sweat. The design of the MPOW M20 looks good. They have the traditional earbud shape with MPOW “M” logo on the back of each bud. Both the case and the earbuds have a matte black finish. The finish looks nice making them appear tight and clean. Because the earbuds look so normal, you can wear these in professional environments without looking out of place.

Battery Life & Wireless connection

Bluetooth 5.0 establishes the wireless connection between the earbuds and your phone. This is a stable connection and it synchronizes properly between the two buds. The Bluetooth connection does not suffer from interference coming from other wireless signals. You get plenty of wiggle room as the connection reaches close to 33ft (10m).

On to probably the most impressive part in this MPOW M20 review. The battery life combined with the charging case is no short of fantastic. In itself, the earbuds have 6 hours of playtime. However, the charging case can fully charge them an additional 15 times before needing to be recharged itself. The case packs 2600mAH. To make it even more impressive, the charging case has the abilities of a power bank. The power bank function is perfect for emergencies. The case uses micro-USB to recharge instead of USB-C. 

MPOW M20 Sound Performance

The M20 is very pleasant to listen to if you like a powerful bass sound. MPOW put a clear emphasis on the bass sound. The mids and the treble are both quite great. 

Overall, the sound performance is quite good and perhaps even great depending on the music genre. They are of course best for bass-heavy songs or most modern music. The earbuds experience almost no distortion. Furthermore, the earbuds have some natural noise-cancellation because they seal so well inside the ears.

The MPOW M20 has one of the absolute best batteries available on truly wireless earbuds. The charging case that also functions as a power bank is a straight-up homerun. Unboxing

The BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 comes in a package which we know all too well from other BlitzWolf products. The package is mostly white with some nice green touches to it, just like Dab Lew Tech’s signature colour. 

Inside we find the casing, which looks good and solid and another smaller package. In that smaller package, we find a small micro-USB cable and two extra sets of ear tips to make it fit for every ear size. At the bottom of the box, we find some guides and warranty information.

The earflap is well placed and it keeps the earbud in place really well. With the multi-function button on the side, you can easily control what you are doing with the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1. This is also well placed and it does not put extra pressure on your ear canal when pressing the button.

Functions

The BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 can almost do it all and it has a surprising feature which we just love. All controls are handled by a single button which makes using them a whole lot easier, let’s jump into the multifunctional button.

  • Call Handling

If you receive a phone call, you can answer it by pressing the button once. This same action, pressing once, is required to hang up a current phone call. To reject a call, press the button twice when you receive a phone call.

  • Music Handling

Pausing a song is done by pressing the button once. If you like to play it again, you have to press the button again once. Don’t like the current song and would you like to skip to the next song? You have to press the right button for 2 seconds. If you would like to go to the previous song, you have to press the left button for 2 seconds. Cool features, aren’t they?

  • Power On/Off

This is done all automatically! That is just amazing. When you take out the earbuds from the charging case, they are automatically turned on and when you place them back in there, they are turned off and will charge completely. Kuddos, BlitzWolf!

  • IP Rating: IPX4

The earbuds and the charging case of the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 has a great rating of IPX4. This means that the earbuds and the case are water and sweatproof. Don’t worry if you want to turn when it is raining or super hot outside. It can handle some rain and sweat.

  • Google Assistant / Siri

When you press the button twice, you will wake up your voice assistant. This is just great! With the cold days coming, you don’t have to take out your smartphone to play your favourite song or call somebody. Just press the button twice and tell your assistant (Google Assistant or Siri). For this price, it is a really nice feature which works really well.

Sound Quality

A pair of earbuds must have outstanding sound quality. Can the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 amaze us with the sound quality? Fortunately, yes. We listen to several songs that we enjoy. The lows, mids, and highs are well balanced and at the maximum volume on the phone we were using phone, there is no bothersome level of distortion. 

The noise cancellation is also top notch on the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1. Through our testing, we used these earbuds on the roadside. We find that they do a decent job in muffling the road noise without having to turn volume above 80%. Overall, we do think BlitzWolf does a pretty decent job with the noise cancellation.

Call Quality

One feature stood out to us when using it for calling. Both earbuds are working while having a conversation! This is something you rarely see with wireless earbuds. Most of the time only one is working. BlitzWolf managed to solve this issue a lot of people had. Great job!

Battery Life

Charging cases are a must if you ask us for wireless earbuds. With the charging case, you only need to charge the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 once every week. Our experts used them from and to work and it is just great. The earbuds have a battery life of around 2 to 3 hours for each session. The battery case itself can completely charge the earbuds around 4 times, which is great. Charging the earbuds goes very quickly. In just 1 to 1.5 hours they are good to go! This is the same for the charging case. If that is empty, just charge it for 1.5 hours and you can charge the earbuds 4 times again. 

Conclusion

There are some great features on the BlitzWolf BW-FYE1 like the Google Assistant/Siri function. This makes it so much easier and you don’t have to take out your smartphone every time you want to change something. The battery life is great with around 2 to 3 hours of play time. Charging goes quickly, the earbuds, as well as the charging box, is completely charged in 1.5 hours.

If you’ve been a reader here at Dab Lew Tech for the past few months, you’ve probably heard of Tronsmart. They’re an up and coming manufacturer of some of the most affordable and top-rated audio products on the market. First Look

Opening the box for the first time it was obvious to us that the Spunky Beat were minimalist in design. They’re much smaller than most in-ear earbuds (which is a good thing). The slimmed down nature of them makes them stand-out among others and appear sleek and original.

Included in the box is of course the earbuds themselves, a charging case, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, instruction manual, warranty card and two extra sets of ear tips. This is everything you need and nothing more.

Comfort and Fit

When we first place the Tronsmart Spunky Beat earbuds in our ears, we were quite pleased with the way they fit. As we mentioned, they’re very small. In fact, they’re a bit smaller than a 5-rupee coin. Unlike some earbuds in this same price-range, they’re much more compact and sleeker. So much so that they don’t stick out. Nestled into our ear canal, the Spunky Beat didn’t wiggle or come loose – even with vigorous shaking of the head.

Sound Quality

Now that we had them paired and ready to go. Right from the start, it was apparent that Tronsmart designed the Spunky Beat with better acoustics in mind. Utilizing the newest Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, we were absolutely pleased with how they sounded. Vocals were clear and the treble seemed to release the perfect balance of highs, mids and lows. Acoustic sounds were our favourite and vocals seemed much more realistic than we would have ever imagined.

Spunky Beat’s are equipped with aptX CVC 8.0 noise cancellation, it was easy to get deep into the music without noticing much else going on. That’s what we love in a quality set of earbuds – the ability to delve deep into your tunes and forget about the distractions right around you. These seemed to offer exactly that. They did a fantastic job at keeping out unwanted background noise so that the music was all you’re interested in.

Battery Life and Charging

The inclusion of a charging case is nice to have. It not only keeps the internal battery on each earbud fully charged up while not in use but gives you a safe and protected place to store them. Each time you’re finished using the Spunky Beat’s, simply place them in their cradle and you’re good to go on battery-life next time you’d like to use them. On the backside of the charging case is a small USB-C input where you can connect the included charging cable. Flip over the case and you’ll notice another cable that’s secured to the base. It’s a USB-A charging cable that’s built directly into the case itself. That way, you don’t have to carry-along a cable when you want to top them off. Having the option of using 2 different cables keeps versatility at an all-time high.

Our experts at Dab Lew Tech estimated the Spunky Beats have an estimated battery life of 7 hours per full charge. That is, both earbuds should last 7 hours between full charging cycles. Additionally, the case provides 2 and a half full charge cycles before it needs to be plugged in. 

Durability

As we stated before, the Tronsmart Spunky Beat are ideal for active lifestyles. Since they’re geared for working out, they’ve included IPX5 waterproofing into the design. This is a durability standard that proves they’re able to withstand moisture and sweat for long periods. Taking a jog or bringing them to the gym provides no concerns since they’re made to handle a bit of a beating.

Final Thoughts

Tronsmart seems to have done it again. They’ve designed the Spunky Beat True Wireless Earbuds in a way that keeps them streamlined and useful for everyday listening. Catered to the active individual, they excel when it comes to comfort and fit. The small design bodes well with most listeners as they don’t look too big and bulky when you’re using them.

Audio quality is on-point, although the bass is slightly lacking. We truly enjoyed the acoustics and proper balanced of mids and highs that kept our tunes sounding exactly how we desired. Country, pop, R&B, rock and classical all sounded fantastic. 

Overall, we’re very pleased with the Spunky Beats. They’re crafted from head to toe with attractive features and an even-more attractive design. Needless to say, we wouldn’t hesitate to give them our recommendation for anyone looking for the right balance of affordability and quality.

Audio Performance

It seems like BlitzWolf designed the ES2 to be more advanced when compared to other ear earphones. The ES2 has a distinctively warmer audio signature. Bass on the ES2 sounds a lot more punchy and cleaner. 

To top it off, the ES2 performs really well when playing crowded ensembles thanks to its hybrid dual driver design which breaks no sweat when it comes to playing low and high frequencies simultaneously. This is probably made possible by having both drivers tuned to different frequency ranges — one tuned to a higher frequency range while the other tuned to a lower range. This hybrid setup allows the ES2 to reproduce sounds more accurately and with more detail throughout the entire frequency range.

CALL QUALITY

The inline remote also features a microphone for use during phone calls. Even though the remote is a few inches below your chin, during our test call the other party could hear us pretty clear without having to hold the unit closer to the mouth.

Review Blog: Blitzwolf BW-FYE5

Experts at Dablew.pk had been been using the Blitzwolf BW-FYE1 True wireless earbuds as their daily since they received them and were delighted to be able to review the FYE5, a different version of them.

These super-cool TWS earbuds come in a small pill shaped charging case, with small circle shaped earphones. With 1.5 hours of continuous listening, and the ability to be charged 3 times by the case, the BW-FYE5 are a nice set of economical yet truly wireless earphones.

In the package, you get the earphones themselves, three different sizes of earphone, and a micro USB charging cable. The earphone case is nicely made, out of tough plastic, and snaps closed with magnetic assistance. The earphones snap into their charging docks with magnetic assistance, which is also a very nice touch. Battery level for the charging case is shown in a round circle of lights.

Pairing the BW-FYE5 is easy – simply pair the right earphone to your phone, and then it automatically pairs to the left. The earphones switch on and off automatically as you put them in the charging case.

Build & Fit

The earphones themselves are very small and are made out of plastic. These are small earphones – they fit in the ‘hollow’ in your ear, and the case itself is pretty small.

The earphones are pretty comfortable – as our experts mentioned, they can feel a little loose at times, however in the time that they had been using them, they have never fell out. The case has no sharp edges, so it’s very comfortable to have in your pocket whilst you use the earphones.

They are well put together internally, with high amounts of bass struggling to cause rattling sounds.

Sound

Definitely, no complaints here. Our experts mentioned that BlitzWolf’s wireless speakers are bass boosted. The earbuds definitely sound natural with a good balance of bass and treble. Additionally, we definitely wouldn’t call the bass weak. Given our experience with bass-heavy speakers, these are definitely a lot more comfortable to wear.

The quality continues to remain crisp even at higher volumes. we have not experienced any distortions or echoing. These will definitely get the job done for the majority of users.

The connectivity distance is strong. If you are within a 10-meter radius of your device, you won’t experience any static or cut-offs. We left the phone downstairs stairs at our Physical Tech store at Zamzama Karachi, surprisingly, the music was still playing as we went upstairs. Only when we walked outside the store did we experience the cut-offs. However, that definitely is stretching the capabilities of Bluetooth 5.0 quite a bit.

The BW-FYE5 are a decent set of truly wireless earphones. We would definitely prefer the FYE5, as they are comfortable, and we find the sound to be just AWESOME.

Blog Review: Tronsmart Spunky Pro

Tronsmart Spunky buds; The name is funky, but sound is premium! There is a reason why it’s an Amazon Hot Sellers.  Experts at Dab Lew Tech has written a review on the product to help you take your decision easily.

In the Box & First Impressions

The product’s packaging is simple: inside the box, you’ll find the earbuds. Surprise! We’re not done yet, though. Along with them, we’ve got a USB-C charging cable, a bunch of documents, some different-sized pairs of tips for the earbuds, and the charging case. All of this is pretty cool!

The charging case is pretty cool: there’s a button on the side that, when pressed, pops open the top cover to reveal the earbuds themselves. It’s a pretty interesting construction and it’s fun to pop it open and shut. The top also has a cool almost-checkered texture, with each square reflecting differently depending on which angle you see it from.

Something we have noticed about a lot of cheaper true-wireless earbuds is that they’re pretty bulky. The Tronsmart Spunky Pro, however, break that norm. They’re not exactly tiny, but they’re small enough to not get in the way.

It was also a nice surprise to see that the charging case uses USB-C. It’s nice to see a low-cost product embracing USB-C over the much weaker micro-USB connector.

Sound

The Tronsmart Spunky Pro gets loud. We don’t have any mainstream earbuds or headphones to compare the volume to, but if you keep these on 100% volume, you’ll probably end up with hearing loss. If you’re hard of hearing, or you just like really loud audio, these won’t disappoint.

Even though they get loud, the Tronsmart Spunky Pro don’t leak sound, unlike a certain set of wireless earbuds made by a fruit. That means that you can crank the tunes without worrying about everyone else knowing you’re listening to #cokestudio on repeat. It also means you won’t be annoying those around you.

That lack of leak works both ways, though. These aren’t active noise-canceling earbuds, but they do a pretty good job of passive noise isolation. You won’t feel like you’re in a sensory deprivation chamber wearing these, but it’ll be harder for ambient noise to drown out what you’re listening to.

Controls

Since the Tronsmart Spunky Pro are true-wireless earbuds, it means they don’t have that convenient remote/microphone combo that tethered earbuds have. Instead, each earbud is equipped with a capacitive touchpad to register user input.

There are actually quite a few controls available, but here are the more important ones :

It’s pretty nice having everything a three-button remote would give you, just with two capacitive pads.
