BUYER BEWARE! Read before purchase!

Let me preface this with this is my 3rd Whitestone Dome Screensaver. I ordered one a month ago and finally got around to installing it on my new device. I carefully unpacked everything in a clean workspace, started the cleaning process and when I got to putting the Screensaver on, I was unable to find it. ANYWHERE. Because I had it for a month, I thought to accept responsibility myself that it was missing, even though it still has not shown up in my clean work environment and the package was unopened. So I ordered another kit. Not realizing it was a "damaged package" at the time of order, and being sold by Whitestone, I selected it. It was not a "damaged package". It was a used package. One of the adhesive bottles was open and empty, it had no application materials except the frame and 1 adhesive bottle. No directions either. The glass was in a plastic bag, was greasy and contained minor scratches and had no protective cover on the adhesive side. I spent nearly an hour getting the glass cleaned up for application! I was very disappointed. Fortunately, I had two other partially used kits minus the glass so I was able to complete an install. Speaking from past experiences, the glass itself is better than others I've had, but is not indestructible and will crack. I give this rating on my previous purchase for my old phone because this purchase doesn't deserve a positive review.

Whitestone Dome Screen Protector Glass For iPhone XS Max

It's one of the best, if not THE best, screen protectors you can get. I've used this brand on an Android Samsung Note series and now on iPhone. If you install it correctly you will be completely satisfied. Make sure you install on a level surface and follow the instructions. You can YouTube examples also. That helps do it right the first time. I say again, it's worth the money and until something groundbreaking comes out I won't be using any other brand on my phones.

50/50 chance for a hit or miss installation job

It makes you feel like you don’t have a screen protector on when you touch it however installation is very difficult and is a hit or miss. This time it was a hit and no problems so far 5 hours later, quality is good but way overpriced

Happy wife, happy life.

The installation is complex and this tray did not fit well like the one like my Samsung Note 9. However, the results were still spectacular and my wife said it was better than the one AT&T put on (which she broke when she dropped her phone.)

Great screen protector that isn't too difficult to install

Purchased this for my wife's phone to trial it before buying one for my Android with curved glass. Honestly, the installation wasn't as bad as people said. I read the instructions and then watched the Whitestone video on their website and 2 other YouTube videos. A few notes on the installation. If you go to the website in the directions it takes you to the Korean page, so make sure you go to the U.S. page via google then you can navigate more easily to their install videos. Also, the videos reference a cleaning solution; that doesn't come in the package nor do you need it. The directions are pretty clear that the two tubes are both adhesive for if you mess up the first try. During the install, take your time. If you spend a good minute or two using the alcohol wipe then dry it real well you'll clean it just fine. Keep an eye on the fact that speaker means the part you put by your ear. Not the speaker by the charging port. If you clean it well and take your time you'll be able to adjust the glass slightly if needed to ensure the adhesive is completely covering the surface with no issues. Do not just go directly to the UV light; that's what hardens the glue. Total install time for me including curing the glue was about 8 to 10 minutes. The glass feels great and fits in her case with no issues. Obviously only having it for a few days I can't provide input on how it holds up to drops, but keep in mind that all tempered glass screen protectors are designed to crack at some level of a drop. The goal is for the screen protector to break and not your phone. Overall I'm very happy with the protector and will be getting one for my Android in the coming weeks.
