HAS 100 WATT HOURS OF POWER when charged. Recommended.
I'm an indy filmmaker, and use PORTABLE LITHIUM GENERATORS (like the one from Goal Zero) when I’m filming outdoors, to keep the batteries charged and run LED film lights. I also use them at home when the lights go out, to power floor lamps and fans, recharge my phone, etc.I figure, I can always use more power. So when I saw this, it looked like a fun little device to add to the collection.WHAT I LIKE:• The design is sleek and stylish. The lithium generators I mentioned above work well for filmmaking, but look blocky and industrial -- like they belong in a shop or garage. This little device would look fine in a home or office.• It charges in a few hours when connected to a wall outlet, then is ready to charge or operate other devices.• It's compact and lightweight -- both pluses when you're carrying a bunch of lights and cameras around.• The price is fair and reasonable.WHAT I DISLIKE:• Not a lot, actually. But I wish products like this would list the WATT HOURS in their specs. It would make comparisons and purchasing decisions easier.• Since they don’t list the watt hours, and the "formula" I found to calculate it was inaccurate, I did a little test. I charged the RavPower 27000 fully, plugged a 10 watt LED light into it, and watched to see how long the battery would last. It kept the bulb bright for almost 10 hours.• This means that, if these results are typical, there are 100 WATT HOURS in this RavPower when it’s fully charged (10 watts x 10 hours=100 watt hours or energy).• That aint bad, actually. The lithium generators I mentioned above which run for the same price, also hold this amount. But they’re big and bulky and hard to carry around. That makes this product superior to them, in my estimation.SIDE NOTE:• I did have one problem on the first day. I plugged a power strip into the RavPower, then plugged a lamp into the power strip and turned it on. So far so good. Then I plugged in a second lamp. Taken together, they did not exceed 50 watts of draw. But for some reason, the RavPower acted "startled" -- flashing lights -- and shut itself off.• I tried the same experiment the next day, this time hooking both lamps up to the power strip BEFORE plugging the strip into the RavPower. Done this way, there were no problems.

RAVPower Portable AC Outlet Battery
This is the 3rd purchase for my new emergency go to pack: sturdy construction, it’s literally a backup storage solution or when camping. If you’re like me, electricity- intensive, this is the perfect off grid solution. It’s lightweight & I carry one when traveling. RECOMMEND: buy a few.

Great battery
I use the battery to power my electric spinning wheel whenever I need a portable electric supply. The battery keeps a charge for a long time. It was a great investment. I purchased this unit 3 years ago. Recently I misplaced the AC charging cord. When I requested to purchase a new cord they offered to send me one at no charge. Good customer service.
