USThe Tronsmart Spash1 Bluetooth speaker is a little bigger and a little heavier than I expected, but it’s still very portable, and has nice sound for a speaker of this size and reasonable price. I suspect the slightly heavier weight is mostly battery, to improve battery life, and the larger speaker size helps it sound better. So aside from being a bit surprised when I opened the package, I’m quite happy.The speaker came securely packaged, and Tronsmart included a USB-C charging cable, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm Aux cable, and a small instruction manual (really, more of a little brochure) with it. The speaker was easy to connect via Bluetooth: long press the power button, look for it on my Android phone, and click on pair. This was a good thing, because the manual is really hard to understand. I appreciate that Tronsmart is trying to meet the needs of people speaking many languages by using icons for the manual, but some of them were pretty hard to figure out – and I’m a person who likes puzzles! I ended up having to google for a few things, like how to turn off the color-changing LED lights – which I actually haven’t been able to figure out yet…Aside from that, though, the Splash 1 is a very nice speaker. I’ve been using it for a couple of days at work, and the battery lasts a full day, and recharges overnight. I ran it for a while with my Android phone via Bluetooth, and also for a few hours with my old Sansa Clip, using the Aux cable, and it sounds good both ways. It’s pretty loud when I crank it up, but at work, it’s actually more important that I can turn it down enough, to not bother other people, and this one does well on that. I’ve not tried using it for hours on end, so can’t confirm its supposed 24-hour battery life, but really, it’s got enough juice for any reasonable use case. I’m now going to move it to my shower at home, and see if the IPX7 “splash” rating really is true. I’ll come back and update this review if I experience issues down the road.I only have three minor comments/issues for folks to be aware of: (1) the manual issues, as discussed above, (2) the minor annoyance of not being able to figure out how to turn off the LED light – which would matter more if I wanted to use it as a bedside speaker, but isn’t really going to matter for a shower speaker, since the LEDs are not super bright, and (3) the somewhat hard to push buttons, which I’ve found to be an issue with other “splash-proof” speakers – I think whatever they have to do to achieve the waterproofing impacts the buttons. Aside from these, which are all pretty minor, and especially keeping its reasonable price in mind, I am super happy with the speaker, and so it gets 5 stars from me. Please keep in mind that I received this speaker from Amazon’s Vine Voice review program, in exchange for my honest review.

USI was looking to replace the Bluetooth speaker in our main shower and came across the Tronsmart Splash 1 Waterproof Portable Wireless Speaker. It looks nice and is IPX7 waterproof, which means it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes before potentially failing, but for this type of product ease-of-use and sound quality are two of the most important factors.In the box you get the speaker with attached adjustable rope strap, USB-C charging cable, 3.5mm male-to-male audio cable for use with the AUX in Port, and paperwork. While neither the charging nor audio cables are particularly long, their inclusions are nevertheless appreciated.After charging, setup is easy. Once you remove the charging cable and power on the speaker, you then hold the M button for a few seconds and connect your phone, tablet, or other device to "Tronsmart Splash 1."Sound quality is excellent over the Bluetooth 5.0 connection. There's decent bass and clear overall sound. It won't blow you away, but for a small, waterproof speaker, it's very good. You can supposedly sync audio with a second Splash 1 for true stereo sound, but I didn't have a second device to test that functionality with.LED lights on the outer case cycle between various colors depending upon the current state of the device. Volume Up/Down and Play/Pause are clearly marked on the top of the unit. I also appreciate the discrete power button because other devices I've had often make the Play/Pause button pull the additional duty.Overall, the Splash 1 is an excellent low-cost, waterproof Bluetooth speaker with good sound quality and up to 24 hours of battery life. For me, it will make an ideal replacement for my outdated shower speaker, but it also would work well in other watery settings, like at the beach or poolside.
USMy last Bluetooth shower speaker crapped out so I got this one. There were no reviews to give me a hint as to how it may perform but I had heard of the company before and it was priced right so here goes… The sound form this little speaker is truly amazing. Most Bluetooth speakers this size sound good (its about 4 ½ inches across) and it has a cool light show. There are two lights that change colors at the base of the unit that make the experience just that much cooler. It also comes with a tether that has an adjuster on it that will presumably keep it from sliding down the shower head pipe I lashed it to. The moving adjuster allows you to use the cord as a lanyard if you need to attach this speaker to something larger than a water pipe. You can summon Alexa/Siri/google by pressing and holding the power button and there is a menu button that gives you even more control over the units many functions. But the function that interests me (especially in a shower speaker) is its ability NOT to let water get to it. As I mentioned in the intro paragraph my last speaker died after a few months because it got water in it. I will up date you, kind reader, if this becomes an issue with this one.

USIf this cost double what it does I would downgrade it for not having an SD card slot. I might not exalt the sound, but even if it did cost twice what it does, the sound is pretty decent. Fact is that for this price I do not expect much at al. I have speaker cases which cost more, cables which cost more. This is a bargain basement price, and it is so much better built than what you can reasonably expect for what it costs that it ought to get a 5 star rating just for build quality.but, that is not all it has going for it.1. It is a truly portable speaker with a much bigger sound. It is not very loud, but it is loud for a speaker this size and price2. It is truly waterproof: ipx 7, not 4 or 5 (which is splash proof, but others call it waterproof).3. Clean sound! This costs about what a cheap, obsolete transistor radio costs, and there is no fuzz or static or hiss.4. Balanced sound profile. No, it is not extra bass, but Tronsmart makes some that are.5. Sound quality. This is my single highest priority. Have I heard better? you bet, but not for under $25. In fact I do not have any equipment which costs as little as this does, and would not have given it a second look but for the fact that I tried their onyx prime ear buds last week, and they have dropped the price on those so low that it is at a 'run out and buy it' ... just grab ot here while it is ridiculously inexpensive, because the sound quality on those is VERY VERY good,.6. Tronsmart is honest. They do not misrepresent the wattage, or falsify specs like a lot of other companies which make inexpensive equipment, and in my experience you generally get more with Tronsmart.I would bet that you can not get better sound at this price, period.Now, if you are wiling to spend more, their 'force' speaker near blew my roof off... for those wwho want loud.and their onyx prime ear buds are the rare headset in this price range which has aptx.Tronsmart makes quite a range of equipment, something for everyone.Some of it is very high quality. Some is very inexpensive.This falls in the latter category, but does have much better sound quality and power than it is reasonable to expect under $25
USMy husband likes to ride his bicycle and he loves this wireless speaker! It has great sound for a small speaker! It's easy to pair with his IPhone. So far he has used it for several hours and it still shows 3/4 battery left. The sound is more than loud enough when he rides his bike and I'm assuming it would also be in the shower. The instructions that came with this speaker are all pictures, but they could be clearer. The charging cable and auxiliary were included. It was well packaged and it came in a nice strong box. It has charging indicator lights as well as multi color flashing lights that you can turn on and off. A really great sounding speaker with long battery life!
