The chipset powering this innovative device has now been revealed through lines of code found in Samsung’s One UI 8, based on Android 16. The Galaxy Z TriFold will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the same powerful processor found in the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold7. This ensures flagship-level performance to support the larger screen and potentially more demanding multitasking features of the tri-fold design.

Leaks suggest the Galaxy Z TriFold will feature a roughly 10-inch inner display when fully unfolded, offering a tablet-like experience. Samsung’s latest flip-foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip7, is now in for review, and it’s already generating quite a buzz. While it may fly a bit under the radar compared to its sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold7, many believe the Flip7 will be the more popular choice among consumers due to its sleek design and practical form factor. Samsung continues to refine the flip-phone experience with this new iteration, focusing on both aesthetics and usability.

The retail package remains simple and straightforward — you get the phone, a SIM eject tool, and a USB-C cable. The Galaxy Z Flip7 is available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
