iPhone 17 Pro gets new colors
The upcoming iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to arrive in an exciting range of new colors: black, dark blue, silver, and orange. While these shades have been illustrated in concept images circulating online. They are not official leaks but rather educated guesses based on insider information. Apple has a history of experimenting with finishes and tones for its Pro lineup. This generation appears to follow suit with some bold design decisions.
Among the standout shades, the dark blue is said to be so deep it could easily be mistaken for black in certain lighting. It draws inspiration from the Blue Titanium colorway seen in the iPhone 16 Pro, offering a subtle yet sophisticated option. Meanwhile, the black variant will resemble Black Titanium but feature a matte texture for a more refined and less glossy appearance.
The silver variant is reported to be similar to White Titanium, described as “bright with warmer undertones” for a sleek and modern look. However, the most attention-grabbing hue is orange, which could become the iPhone 17 Pro’s signature “hero color.” This shade is reportedly inspired by the orange Action Button on the Apple Watch Ultra, and it promises to be “vibrant yet balanced,” aimed at users who prefer bold, non-traditional styles.
In addition to the new color palette, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max may return to aluminum frames, stepping away from titanium and stainless steel used in recent models. As for other color options previously rumored—such as green, purple, and “Sky Blue”—these are expected to appear in the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air models. Apple might also have a surprise color up its sleeve, with another new shade anticipated to leak in the near future.
