iPhone 17 Pro Max Concept showcases a major change to the Camera Layout
The iPhone 17 Pro Max concept showcases a major change to the Camera Layout. For a few years now, the iPhone Pro models (iPhone 14, 15, and 16) have all looked quite similar. With the same three-camera setup and Dynamic Island. But the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to change things up, offering a fresh look with four main cameras. This new setup is said to compete with other top smartphones, like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, especially in the area of photography. The camera layout is the biggest change seen since the iPhone 11 Pro, signaling a new direction for Apple’s Pro line.
This concept comes from Antonio de Rosa, a well-known concept designer who has worked on some impressive ideas before. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is inspired by rumors of a thinner, sleeker iPhone, and is part of what’s being called the “Thinnovation” era, where devices become ultra-thin without losing features. Plus, the concept shows a phone with a titanium frame and a glass back, supporting wireless charging. It also comes in five colors and uses USB-C charging. Despite the camera bump, the phone is only 0.7 cm thick, making it as slim as an iPad Pro.
Additionally, the most obvious change is the new camera layout. Unlike the usual square camera bump with three lenses. This new setup is asymmetric. It includes a dual-lens array on the far left, a large 7X telephoto lens beside it, and a small macro camera below that for close-up shots. It also has a LiDAR sensor, which helps with depth and focus in photos with a flashlight. Furthermore, this concept shows a bold new direction for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, both in design and photography capabilities.
