The iPhone Fold is now being tested with an under-display camera

Apple is actively testing its upcoming iPhone Fold, expected to launch in late 2026 or 2027, and new leaks from Korea have shed light on its current prototype. According to reports, the device will feature a cover display with a hole-punch selfie camera, while the main folding screen will house an under-display camera—similar to the approach taken by Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series. This development suggests Apple is working to maintain a seamless screen experience on the inner display without compromising on camera functionality.

Another notable detail is the addition of a side-mounted Touch ID fingerprint sensor, with no support for Face ID in the current prototype. While the screen sizes have slightly decreased from earlier versions, their resolutions and aspect ratios remain unchanged.
