Samsung moves ahead with another Fan Edition phone, getting ready to release its next model in the popular FE lineup—the Galaxy S25 FE. This follows the big success of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G. The FE series is known for offering many high-end features at a more affordable price, which has made it popular with a lot of people. Even though Samsung skipped a release in 2021, they’ve since released a new FE model each year, and it looks like the S25 FE will be next.

Samsung has already started working on the Galaxy S25 FE, starting with the software for the US version (model number SM-S731U). The phone’s software version is S731USQU0AYDH, and it’s expected to come with Android 16 and One UI 8.0. Samsung is also planning to support this phone with seven major Android updates, which means it will stay updated for many years. Leaks also suggest the phone will have a slimmer design and a battery that’s wider but thinner, likely keeping the same power as before.

Speculation about the phone’s processor stirred interest, with early rumors pointing to a MediaTek Dimensity chip, but more reliable reports have since confirmed that Samsung will instead use the Exynos 2400e—the same chip featured in the Galaxy S24 FE. This indicates the S25 FE will deliver solid performance similar to its predecessor. In terms of memory and storage, Samsung is expected to offer variants with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of internal storage. Ensuring the phone remains competitive in the upper mid-range segment. Furthermore, as anticipation builds, the Galaxy S25 FE could be another big hit in Samsung’s lineup.
