Everything new in iOS 18.3
Apple has officially released iOS 18.3 after weeks of beta testing. Unlike previous updates, this version doesn’t bring many major changes but focuses on small improvements to make your iPhone experience smoother. The standout feature is that Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI suite, is now enabled by default for all users upgrading to this update. If you’re in a region where Apple Intelligence is supported, you’ll notice smarter suggestions and features across your apps. Updating your iPhone is simple—just go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Other enhancements include smarter Visual Intelligence, allowing your iPhone to identify plants, animals, and even events from posters using your camera. Notification summaries now show italicized text to indicate AI-generated content, and you can quickly access notification settings with a swipe on the lock screen. Small tweaks to the Calculator app and Apple News+ Sudoku also add to the convenience. Additionally, a new Black Unity wallpaper is available to celebrate diversity. While the changes are minor compared to earlier updates, iOS 18.3 still improves your overall experience.
