Buying a new home meant facing the prospects of running cords again and I just could clutter up the nice open floor plan with speaker, wires, speaker stands etc. All of that seems so other century to me and I’m adulting now.I mounted our TV to the wall and it can angle many different ways. I was able to mount this soundbar to the bottom of the TV using the included hardware and some speaker wall mounts available at a local home improvement store. I did have to drill and tap holes on the bottom of the TV but they aren’t visible.Last night was the first time watching TV with them and I’m very happy. I’m not an audiophile which makes life easier. These sound good and I love the detachable speakers you can put wherever you want them.Hopefully the system lasts and I’ll update if anything changes.
USI love the JBL5.1 soundbar. The music sounds like you’re listening to a live band in your living room. The movies are just like in the theatre. We are very glad we purchased this soundbar .
USThe sound is incredible. I remove the detachable speakers and sit them on each end of my sectional couch. The remote is the only thing I could complain about. It works, don't get my wrong, but it just feels cheap. It is very light and I feel like my TV has a better remote design. It just feels cheap. The speaker system overall is very good. I would buy it again if I had another TV that needed a surround sound speaker bar. The bass it produces is also very good. I currently use it in a basement and I feel the bass.

USI was looking at a sound bar for $109 and actually purchased it. Big Mistake. This one is so much better and worth the extra $$$. I like that the mini speakers detached and can be used anywhere since they have an internal battery for power.
USShort version - leave your subwoofer unplugged every night. The capacitor builds up a charge that needs to be drained.Long version - I'm on my second JBL soundbar because the subwoofer started popping within 3 or 4 days of getting it. When it did, the satellite surround speakers would also drop out. I tried everything: new optical cable, resetting the sound, moving the speakers, and because I thought the soundbar was at fault (since the satellite speakers were affected too) I unplugged it from the mains and left it unplugged. No change. It was even happening when streaming music via Bluetooth on my phone.I troubleshot with Amazon and also JBL and then gave up and sent it back. Amazon sent a replacement and, within 2 days, it was doing the same thing.Then I thought about unplugging the subwoofer and leaving it unplugged overnight. When I unplugged it, I noticed the light at the back (indicating a bluetooth connection to the soundbar) remained on for a number of seconds, even though it was unplugged.Luckily for me, I did tech support for a few years and I know that all electronic devices have a capacitor that holds a charge. If that charge builds up, it'll interfere with the operation of the device. (So if you have a laptop or its screen that won't power on, unplug the battery, unplug the power cable, push the power button for 2 minutes and try again.)I left it unplugged overnight and voila - no more popping. I don't know if this is a permanent fix as I unplug it every night now, but hopefully, if you're having the same issue this will help :-)Oh, and btw, the speakers are awesome. I sorely wanted the issue fixed because the sound is amazing. Try it with Jurassic Park (as someone else suggested), the opening scene with the star destroyer thundering overhead in Star Wars or the very deep bass of Blade Runner 2049 and you'll see what I mean.
USThe bass and clarity of the sound are over the top. The subwoofer makes my home windows vibrate. This item is worth the cost.

USBetter than expected! Replaced my receiver 5.1 system but has the same features. Mode controls , music voice movie standard and even better a balance feature that helps the rear speakers demonstrate the surround effect . ++++++
USThis unit produces wonderful sound. I was skeptical of the wireless speakers for the surround sound but they are excellent. Watching movies and sports are more inclusive now.
