These are amazing and well worth the money! Don't hesitate to buy them. So good at noise cancelling it sometimes makes me angry as I can be standing next to my husband and he doesn't hear me (or is it the headphones??) HaHa! Seriously, sound quality and noise cancelling is top notch. Would highly recommend.

Amazing for the price

Overall, fantastic product considering its 1/3 the price of some competitors. I have owned the Bose quiet comfort 1 & 2, and the Sony noise cancelling headphones and I’ll never pay nearly $300 for noise cancelling again.Battery Life- excellent so far. Doesn’t seem dramatically different than others I have owned.Bluetooth range- the best I have ever found. Particularly better than the Bose quietcomfort II which was absolute garbage range. I own 11 acres and can walk clear half way across the property before I realize I’ve left my phone at home.Buttons- it doesn’t have a “switch song” button which Sony and Bose II have, it does have a play/pause and volume up and down. I can’t figure out how to answer a phone call on them. It may be possible.Noise Cancelling- not great. They have a low hum that you’ll hear if your ear drum gets too close to the speaker. The best noise cancelling was Sony, and what I loved is you could lean your head all the way against them laying on your side with no change in quality. Bose you could lay against them just so far and they would give you a high screeching sound making you wonder how their noise cancelling works.Connectivity- connects to my device fast, no problems ever. The only thing is it seems it’ll only connect to one phone or computer at once. Sony would only do one, Bose would do multiple. However, both Sony and Bose had much trouble connecting with my device especially switching to my computer audio. They have 3rd party apps to try to help you connect but seems like Anker has none of those problems. Just superior ability to connect.Sound Quality- seems great, I’m easy to please though. Not noticeably too quiet or flat. Good bass.

In depth review

Not as deep as some reviews on this product, but I'll do my best for a short review. I'd give the sound quality a 9/10. The sound is amazing considering everything else you get for the $60. However, the sound seems to get lower sometimes almost as if there is some sort of auto volume leveling. I barely notice it, though. The build quality is 5/10. Definitely could have been worse. It's all plastic, but the ear ups are very comfortable. The headband dies seem to press on my head a lot, but most headphones I have used do that. The noise cancellation gets a 8/10 because it does work very well and about as good as you can get for the price. It does let higher pitched sounds through, like music. I mow my lawn with these, and it does a great job for what I expected. Overall, very good for the price, definitely would recommend.

excellent battery, good ANC, but flawed mic

I bought these in 2019 because I wanted to check out my first pair of noise-cancelling headphones. One, I work in a back office next to a server track, so there's always an ambient hum from those plus air-conditioning and it was starting to drive me mad. Two, I was going to have a lot of traveling coming up and wanted something to cut out plane flight noise, and also see if they help with the loud chatter and engine noise of my daily bus commute.The ANC works great to cut out 'consistent' background noise, so it works great for the server noise that plagues my day to day. It does a solid job of making bus commutes far more tolerable, cutting out engine noise and blurring people chatter. It does reduce plane noise some but not by as much as I'd hoped.Music on it sounds good. I'm not a pro audiophile who can talk about quality ranges in the trebles or mids or whatever, but they sound just as good on my video game soundtracks that are full of orchestra as they do when listening to J-Pop or modern top 40s pop which has a lot of overlapping vocals. There's a bass boost I never use.I like that Bluetooth means I can connect to my work laptop, personal PC, or phone. Pairing is easy, just hold the button and wait for it to pop up as available to the computer. The button quality is solidly clicky, I can always tell when I've pressed something. I really like that the earcups can swivel and fold, and they don't feel delicate. Also, they fit my small head really well (unlike the SteelSeries headphones I have which slip off all the time because they're too big, even when I adjust them).The biggest problem is that while they advertise crystal clear microphone sound, it comes across as washed out and people say they have trouble hearing me clearly. I see so many good reviews I can't tell if it's just my product being defective or not, but I'll use it only for calls that are short and come in when I can't switch to another pair of headphones for calls. The other problem I have is that in wired mode, you can't use the microphone at all.

Great active noise canceling

I was a bit skeptical of these, never having tried active noise cancellation before.To test them, on their very first use put them on in the bathroom that has an extremely loud bathroom fan. When the ANC kicked, I was honestly shocked - It was like someone had turned the fan off.Now, the fan is probably exactly the kind of noise that is easiest to cancel - low frequency, extremely regular. Accordingly, when I brought these out into the living room, they did very little to cancel 'organic' sounds - things like talking, or my kids crying, where the pitch and rhythm goes up and down unpredictably.One review I saw mention that these are hot, and they definitely are. I had to take small breaks from wearing them on a warm night, because with that thick padding and large ear cuff that rides well around the outside of the ear, my ear started to get to too hot. But honestly I don't think that's avoidable with sound insulated, over the ear headphone. It wasn't much worse than my shop headphones, which similarly get hot.One very nice feature they have, which is not listed well on the listing, is an aux cable input. I am excited to see if this is a way to get there benefits of ANC without the lag of Bluetooth while watching videos.

Okay for the price

I'm not an audiophile. For tv and movies they're great. Good sound range and volume. Decent noise canceling for my use indoors. Comfortable ear pads. Haven't used them too long,3 evenings, and voice "speaks" to me" battery is medium" . Very clever. Will buy second pair.
