Lightweight and fast

The ssd is fast enough to run virtual machines stored on it without any problems. Saved a lot of storage space on my 256 GB Macbook Air.

Can't distinguish speed difference between this external and my macbook airs internal ssd

Using it on a macbook air with m1 chip. The SSD is fast enough to where I can install my steam games on the external SSD and they still run flawlessly. Performance wise you'd never know it was an external drive. No slow downs, stutterings, lagging. It feels as quick as the internal ssd. (and while i know technically it's not quite as fast....in real world performance it feels that way. That's something you won't see off a lot of external drives. Also allows me to hook my Macbook Air up to a monitor/tv through the dongles HDMI port. It surpassed my expectations and I've ended up buying a second one for other devices. The ONLY thing that I might say I'd like on it is SD card and micro SD card reader. But considering that space is taken up by the devices SSD they'd have to make the device bigger...and it's a good size as it is. I'd recommend to anyone as your first option to expand ur laptops or ipad pros storage capabilities.

Great product, thoughtfully designed and outstanding customer service

Due to owning a MacBook Pro with limited memory and only two USB-C ports, I was looking for a multiport that could extend the number of ports I have to take in USB-3.0 as well as increase the amount of memory I have. Due to having a monitor requiring a USB-C connection, I was able to extend to this because this multiport can allow charging via itself.I had a slight issue with the product but the team there responded promptly, easily and professionally. Very happy with the resolution.

Non ne potrei più fare a meno

Sono rimasto indeciso per diverso tempo prima dell'acquisto per il suo prezzo non proprio popolare. Ad oggi dopo un intenso utilizzo non ne potrei più fare a meno. Con il mio Macbook dialoga perfettamente, velocissimo, scalda giusto un pò quando sotto stress, ma nulla di preoccupante. Dimensioni compatte, ottima fattura e resistente. Top.

Mac users beware.

I bought this for my 2019/2020 macbook pro. I noticed this kills my macbook even on the charger. I plug the charger directly into the macbook, and it still kills the battery. The device is supposed to charge the macbook if i plug the power source directly into the USB hub, it kills the battery faster through this method.This may not be the case with all models of the macbook.(or every pc) even using a Bluetooth controller seems to drain the charging macbook.(yes a wireless Bluetooth controller/unplugged)The issue is probably more to do with neglect on apples part and not this device itself. I just wanted to let you know, buyer beware. I may have given this product a harsh rating, but since it is advertised for mac purposes, I feel its justified.

Surprised.

I mainly got this as a usb extension for my surface pro, the fact that the SD on it is super fast and the usb's are faster than a typical usb hub is excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised by this product.

Un valido accessorio per il mio MacbookPro 13”

Ottimo dispositivo, e funziona bene. Piena compatibilità. Lo consiglio caldamente se si hanno problemi di spazio. Peccato che non ci fasse stato un taglio superiore (512 o 1T), con le simili caratteristiche rapporto prezzo/qualità.
