USWorks great has its own magnetic clasp to the mated surface between MagSafe 1 and MacBook air.
USI have bot a macbook pro and a macbook air. My pro has a magsafe adapter and the air has a magsafe 2 adapter, rather than purchasing another adapter for my air when it went out, I bought this adapter, now I can use the same adapter for both macbooks.
USFirst let me say that quite a few of the reviews say this can be knocked off pretty easily and possible be lost. Because of those concerns I also purchased the Magcozy https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ERVP4C2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) The adapter arrived first so I have tried it out and the magnet attachment is solid and the adapter is not knocked off easily. Ths could be bc I have a T shaped Magsafe and not the L--shape?? Anyway, this works great on my husbands old Magsafe power adapter so I did not have to buy another $79 power supply for my Macbook pro. (My old cord was repaired with electrical tape and eventually broke.

US USJust upgraded from an old 2009 Macbook to a 2015 Pro. I have 4-5 MagSafe chargers between home and work, and it was great to use this little adapter to prevent having to buy all new chargers. The only downside is that the adapter would be easy to fall off and get lost, but just be careful and it is extremely useful and works perfectly! Strangely, as a genuine Apple product, it isn't too expensive either!

USI needed a second charger for my 2015 MacBook that uses Mag 2 charger. This allows me to use my old Mag 1 charger cord with my newer MacBook. YAY. I didn't want to spend a bundle on a new charge cord. VERY pleased.
