Just Terrific alone or in combo
I have had my first Charge 5 for about 6 months and found it far and away a tremendous Bluetooth speaker by itself inside and outside on the deck. I just got my second Charge 5 and as the picture shows, I’ve placed each of them on top of my existing living room Aperion tall speakers and I use my two JBL Charge 5’s in Stereo mode with my iphone and Pandora or Amazon Music and WOW!I am an older “fossil” at 65 and love my music and these JBL Charge 5’s together are as good as any portable combo I have ever had and for under $400 a Terrific arrangement!Hats off to JBL!

CLEAN CRISP SOUND
yes its loud but i wont ever have it much over half volume. this blows away every portable speaker i've ever had and its not close. i had been using a kove commuter last few years and it was nice but this is so much better. i thought about getting a jbl xtreme but the new one was twice what this cost. it certainly isn't twice as good. most other speakers i checked out lacked the dust rating and i doubt i ever find out if it floats but glad it has the ip67 rating. very very happy with this purchase

Great portable speaker
This speaker puts out great sound. Easy hook up, easy to pair w/ Bluetooth. Only one set back, it doesn't come with a USB power plug for wall outlet, just the cable, it does state that but if you're not aware you'll need to get one.Bottom line, this little speaker puts out excellent sound and will buy again.
