iPhone 18 Pro Is Going Nuclear with a 2nm Chip

Apple is taking a bold leap forward with its upcoming flagship, as the iPhone 18 Pro is going nuclear with a 2nm chip. Set to launch in 2026, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will debut the A20 chipset, built on a cutting-edge 2nm process. This dramatic shift promises substantial gains in performance, efficiency, and thermal management. The news comes from analyst Jeff Pu, who shared insights through a research note with GF Securities. Pu suggests that the A20 will not only power the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, but also Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone, all scheduled for release in 2026. This aligns with Apple’s broader goal to consolidate performance gains across its top-tier devices. Plus, the A20’s efficiency could be key in bringing powerful performance to the foldable iPhone.
