Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra won’t have an under-display camera

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra won't have an under-display camera

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra won’t have an under-display camera

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will not feature an under-display camera, a decision that may come as a relief to many users. Samsung had previously integrated under-display cameras in its Galaxy Z Fold lineup, but these cameras were not particularly impressive. Although there were rumors suggesting the S26 Ultra might adopt this technology, recent reports from Korea have contradicted that, stating the device will instead use a more conventional hole-punch camera setup. This change comes after Samsung faced significant challenges with under-display camera technology, including issues related to cost and performance, with camera quality likely being a key concern.

Samsung had initially planned to incorporate the under-display camera into the S26 Ultra for a cleaner, all-screen design. However, after encountering difficulties with the technology, the company has decided to delay its use in flagship slab-style smartphones. Samsung is likely waiting until under-display cameras can provide quality comparable to traditional cameras before they become a mainstay in their high-end devices. As a result, the S26 Ultra will stick with a design that prioritizes reliability and proven camera performance.

iOS 18.4 Update for iPhone Brings New Sketch Style to Image Playground App

iOS 18.4 Update for iPhone Brings New Sketch Style to Image Playground App

Apple recently released the iOS 18.4 update, bringing several new features to iPhones. While the spotlight was mostly on the new Visual Intelligence tools available for iPhone 15 Pro models, other smaller but useful updates were also included. One of these updates was a new addition to the Image Playground app — a feature that Apple originally teased during WWDC 2024.

The Image Playground app now has a third image style called Sketch, joining the existing Animation and Illustration styles. Apple describes the Sketch style as detailed and academic, using vibrant colors and fine lines to create realistic drawings. Like the other styles, it uses Apple’s AI tools (Apple Intelligence) to turn text prompts or rough sketches into polished digital artwork.

Image Playground is a free app on the App Store that helps users create and customize images using AI. It includes three main features: the image style options (Animation, Illustration, and Sketch), Genmoji (which lets users design custom emojis), and the Image Wand (a tool that turns rough sketches or text into images in the Notes app). All creations from the app can be shared in Messages, Notes, and other Apple apps like Pages and Keynote.

Apple’s Foldable iPhone Expected in 2026 with Ultra-Premium Price

Yes, you heard it right! Apple’s Foldable iPhone Expected in 2026 with Ultra-Premium Price. Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. That marks a major shift in its smartphone lineup. According to Mark Gurman’s latest Power On newsletter, his sources confirm that 2026 is the expected release year for Apple’s foldable device. Analyst Jeff Pu also reports that the phone has entered the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase at Foxconn, with mass production scheduled for the second half of 2026. The device is expected to feature a book-style folding mechanism, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold, rather than the clamshell design of the Galaxy Z Flip. Notably, Apple aims to minimize the screen crease, with reports suggesting that the display will appear virtually crease-free to the human eye.

Additionally, Apple’s foldable iPhone is set to incorporate advancements in display, battery, modem, and chip technology, which Apple has been developing for the upcoming iPhone 17 Air. Plus, this high-end innovation comes at a steep price, with Gurman predicting a price tag of around $2,000. While Barclays analysts suggest a starting price of $2,300—making it Apple’s most expensive iPhone yet. Moreover, supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also estimated a price range between $2,000 and $2,500. With its premium pricing, cutting-edge technology, and refined foldable design. Apple’s first foldable iPhone is set to redefine the ultra-premium smartphone market.

First Apple iPhone 17 Air Case Appears

First Apple iPhone 17 Air Case Appears

First Apple iPhone 17 Air Case Appears

Apple is gearing up to introduce its latest innovation in smartphone design with the highly anticipated iPhone 17 Air. This upcoming device is expected to be the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, boasting a radically new back design and a single-camera setup that challenges traditional multi-camera trends. Recent leaks have given us an early glimpse into what the phone might look like, with a case image surfacing on social media. The leaked case photo reveals a large camera bump that stretches from one end to the other, hinting at a bold design shift from Apple. The following are some of the key features of the iPhone 17 Air (Leaks & Rumors)

Ultra-Thin Design

  • Just 5.5mm at its base, making it the thinnest iPhone ever.
  • Despite its slim frame, it has a 4mm camera bump, likely for a larger sensor to enhance photography.

Large Display & Premium Feel

  • Same size as the iPhone 17 Pro Max (163mm height, 77.6mm width).
  • 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina display with Dynamic Island notch.
  • Adaptive refresh rate for vibrant colors, deep blacks, and better energy efficiency.

USB-C Port Stays

  • Apple initially considered a portless design with only MagSafe & Qi2 wireless charging.
  • USB-C retained due to consumer demand and faster wired charging & data transfer.

Additionally, the iPhone 17 Air is shaping up to be one of Apple’s most intriguing smartphones in years. With a super-thin design, a large single-camera module, and a premium 6.9-inch display. It aims to redefine what a lightweight yet powerful smartphone can be. Furthermore, the decision to include USB-C instead of going completely wireless suggests. That Apple is taking a cautious approach while still experimenting with new design possibilities.

As the official launch date approaches, we can expect more leaks and details to surface. If the leaked case is anything to go by, the iPhone 17 Air will be a bold step forward in smartphone design. Whether Apple’s decision to return to a single-camera setup and ultra-thin form factor will be embraced by users remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—this is not just another iPhone update, but a significant shift in Apple’s design philosophy. Apple Plans a Game-Changing Upgrade for the Next iPhone

Apple Plans a Game-Changing Upgrade for the Next iPhone

Apple Plans a Game-Changing Upgrade for the Next iPhone

Yes, you heard it right! The Apple Plans a Game-Changing Upgrade for the Next iPhone. Apple is known for pushing boundaries, often introducing features that people never knew they needed. Former CEO Steve Jobs once said, “A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.” This visionary mindset led to the creation of the iPhone in 2007. Revolutionizing the tech industry! Now, nearly two decades later, Apple may be preparing for another bold move—one that customers haven’t been asking for.

Recent reports suggest that Apple is working on a new iPhone model called the iPhone 17 Air, which could mark the beginning of a portless iPhone era. While the upcoming iPhone is expected to still feature a USB-C port. The sources indicate that this might be temporary. Additionally, according to Bloomberg, Apple sees the iPhone 17 Air as the first step toward a future where iPhones rely solely on wireless charging and cloud-based data syncing. Similar to how the Apple Watch functions. If this experiment proves successful, Apple may gradually remove charging ports from more iPhone models.

Moreover, the idea of a portless iPhone has sparked mixed reactions among customers. While some Apple users embrace the shift toward a cleaner, more futuristic design. Others worry about losing the convenience of wired charging and fast data transfers. The debate over whether a port-free iPhone is a smart move has been ongoing for years, and Apple’s decision will likely shape the future of smartphone technology. Furthermore, whether consumers are ready for it or not, Apple appears determined to push forward with its vision for a sleeker, more wireless future.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7’s biggest upgrades detailed in new leak

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be one of the most advanced foldable smartphones of the year, and new leaks have revealed some of its most significant upgrades. One of the biggest changes is the introduction of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This high-performance chip will provide an incredible boost to the device’s speed and efficiency, making it even more capable of handling intensive tasks like gaming, multitasking, and productivity. With this powerful processor, the Z Fold 7 will be a powerhouse in terms of performance, ensuring smooth experiences whether you’re using it for work or leisure. This upgrade is crucial as it aligns with the increasing demand for foldable devices that can keep up with both everyday use and demanding applications.

In terms of camera upgrades, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will see an exciting leap forward. While it will maintain the triple-camera configuration seen in previous models. The primary camera will be receiving a substantial boost. The 50-megapixel main sensor from the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be replaced by a groundbreaking 200-megapixel sensor, offering vastly improved resolution and image clarity. This change is set to revolutionize the foldable camera experience. Allowing users to take ultra-high-definition photos with rich detail and color. The other cameras on the device are expected to stay the same, but Samsung could optimize the software to improve overall performance. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will also feature a 10-megapixel cover screen selfie camera, similar to the one found in the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, the real focus is on the improved primary camera. That is expected to raise the bar for foldable smartphone photography.

iPhone 17 Air dummy model shows off Apple’s big design change

iPhone 17 Air dummy model shows off Apple’s big design change

iPhone 17 Air dummy model shows off Apple’s big design change

The iPhone 17 series is shaping up to bring some notable design changes, as leaked dummy models and CAD files shared by leaker Majin Bu give us a glimpse of what’s to come. The iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro, though not official, are 3D-printed models that showcase significant design updates, including larger camera blocks that span the width of the phones. This design choice appears to be a bold move by Apple, with the iPhone 17 Air featuring a single camera, while the Pro model maintains a triple-camera setup, which mirrors the iPhone 16 Pro’s 48MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 12MP 5x telephoto cameras. These changes align with the latest rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 series, such as potential improvements to the display, front cameras, and even the materials used for the Pro models.

Although these models represent an exciting look at Apple’s future designs, we must remain cautious in accepting them as final. The use of 3D-printed models based on leaked CAD files means these designs could still be subject to change before the official announcement. While the larger camera blocks could suggest improvements in camera performance, the shift towards a design resembling Google’s Pixel devices raises questions about Apple’s strategy. If accurate, these changes would mark a significant departure from Apple’s usual design principles, so we’ll have to wait for the official reveal in September to know for sure. Until then, we can only speculate whether the iPhone 17 series will deliver on these bold new aesthetics.
