Perfect

Everything worked great from the start except from the 1gbe port. Not amazon fault obviously but everything else worked fine so couldn’t be bothered to return!

It works, but not too well.

This adapter generally works, but occasionally the connection cuts in and out a bit (a couple times each month). Also, I heard a rattle inside the adapter this week and, as I turned it over in my hands to check it out, a small screw fell out through the ethernet port.It's still working, but I am not impressed by its quality.

Awesome.

I had bought a MacBook Pro early on this year, and didn't know they would do me dirty like this and force me to have to buy an adapter to plug anything into the laptop.This thing has been a lifesaver because of it, however. It's a little on the pricey side but maybe that's the norm as I'm not very aware how much one from Apple would cost. Has two USB ports, an ethernet cable port, and something to insert your memory card. Convenient enough.I'd recommend it.

SD card reader drops connection

Until recently, I've used an alternative SD card reader, mostly because the SD slot on this seemed awfully snug and I felt like I really had to push the card in, which seemed as though it might damage the chips on the SD card. Then my trusty card reader, which has served me well for 8+ years, stopped working one day. This made me return to the Minix for my SD card reading needs. Wincing as I did so, I pushed the card in. No harm came to the card, so I decided to use Minix as my primary card reader.That was a week ago, and I'm afraid to say I'm now having to purchase a new card reader after all. For some reason, the SD slot kept dropping connection. In fact, while trying to transfer 700 photographs from my card to my hard drive, the SD slot lost connection nine times. My hard drive, also plugged in to the Minix, didn't drop connection once, so I can isolate the connection issue to the SD slot.In summary, 5 stars for its other functions, but 0 stars for its SD abilities.

Very helpful if you need to use multiple connections simultaneously

I use an electronic evaluation system and other adapters did not have enough room for a large USB to be next to normal size USB ... also have needed the HDMI to connect to LCD ... this adapter has been able to handled multiple connections simultaneously

the SD card slot is upside down and feels like its scratching the metal contacts

Runs VERY hot, the SD card slot is upside down and feels like its scratching the metal contacts. Wish it had more SD slots to accomodate the periperals I use for editing and voice over work

Good for awhile then stopped working. Had it replaced

This worked perfectly for about a year but after a year the scissor signal started cutting in and out. I contacted the seller and after quick back and forth emails they shipped me a replacement. Hopefully it’ll just keep working this time.

Missing feet

Good product so far. Using this with MBP late 2016. Removing one star because out of the 6 units I ordered, there was one with the rubber feet missing.
