Samsung Now Has Its Own Tech for Connecting Smartphones to Satellites
Samsung has revealed that its upcoming smartphones, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, will not have satellite connectivity. However, the company has disclosed that it has acquired technology that will allow smartphones to directly communicate with satellites.
This feature will be incorporated into Samsung’s Exynos modems and will provide users with the ability to make calls and request emergency assistance via satellite. This feature puts Samsung’s smartphones ahead of Apple’s existing technology offerings in this space.
